    Hi Dalia,
Thank you for your follow-up, and we sincerely apologize for the continued frustration surrounding your refund.
We completely understand your position and recognize how unacceptable it is to have been waiting this long for funds related to a canceled event. We’re truly sorry that you have had to repeatedly follow up and that we have not provided the timely resolution you deserved.
We recently transitioned to a new customer support system, which unfortunately resulted in significant delays as our team worked through a backlog of outstanding refund requests. While we understand that this does not resolve the frustration you’ve experienced, we sincerely apologize for the impact this has had.
We have escalated your refund request to our team and are working to have it addressed as quickly as possible. We will follow up with you as soon as we have confirmation regarding the processing of your refund.
Thank you for your patience, and we sincerely apologize again for the delay and inconvenience.
    Warmest regards,
    The Fork n’ Film Team

To the Fork n' Film Team,
Thank you for your response, which explicitly confirms and admits that Fork n' Film canceled my event and that you owe me a full refund.
However, stating that you have no "update or estimated completion date" to return my money, nearly ten months after the October cancellation, is entirely unacceptable and a violation of consumer protection laws. Under basic contract law and Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines, a business cannot cancel a service, retain a consumer's funds indefinitely, and refuse to provide a definitive refund timeline.
Please be advised that this correspondence serves as my final demand for payment. If my full refund is not processed and credited back to my account within 48 hours, I will take the following immediate actions:
    1. Bank Dispute: I will forward this email thread to my financial institution's fraud and dispute department as official written proof that you have admitted to canceling the service and failing to return my funds.
    2. Regulatory Complaints: I will submit a formal complaint, along with this documentation, to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and the California State Attorney General’s Office for deceptive business practices and withholding consumer funds.
I expect a prompt notification that my refund has been finalized and issued today.
    Sincerely,
    Dalia Laborin

Per your official refund policy, ticket holders are owed a full refund in cases of event cancellation. If my refund is not processed within 48 hours, I will be forwarding our correspondence to my bank's fraud department and consumer protection agencies. I have evidence dating back to October 2025 of my purchase, cancellation done by your company, and unfulfilled promise of a refund. This is the last attempt of many, where you have failed to give me my refund.

    Hello Dalia,

Thank you for checking in regarding your refund.

We understand how important receiving your refund is, and we truly appreciate your patience. Our team is actively working through refund requests and processing them as quickly as possible.

We know some guests have been waiting longer than expected, and we truly appreciate your continued patience. While we’re unable to provide a specific timeline at this time, we also want to be transparent and avoid giving a timeframe that we cannot confidently guarantee. Your refund is still being processed, and we’ll be in touch as soon as it has been finalized.

Your refund remains on our radar, and we will send a confirmation as soon as it has been finalized. Once processed, you will also receive a refund confirmation for your records.

We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued kindness while we work to complete these requests.

    Warmest regards,
