Dear Tempe Fork N Film,My name is Adan Montijo, and I am writing to follow up on a pending refund for the canceled showing of Ratatouille scheduled for January 10.I purchased two tickets on December 31 to celebrate my wife’s birthday. After the event was canceled, we were asked to reschedule; however, we were unable to do so as we live out of town. In addition to the ticket costs, the cancellation resulted in a lost hotel deposit and non-refundable childcare expenses.Between January 5 and February 17, I was advised that a refund would be issued. I have since followed up on April 10 but have not received a response or the funds. Given the significant delay and the inconvenience caused, I am requesting a full refund of $409.98, as well as complimentary passes to a future event as compensation.My wife and I would prefer to resolve this matter amicably and avoid pursuing legal action.
